What to expect

We know it can be scary going somewhere for the first time, so we’ll do what we can to make you feel comfortable.

We'll make you feel at home

We know it can be scary going somewhere for the first time, so we’ll do what we can to make you feel comfortable.

What you can look forward to at our members’ group

You’ll be welcomed at the door and helped to make sure you get to the right person or place, depending on the reason for your visit. If you’ve not been to the venue before, we’ll show you where the facilities are and, if you’d like us to, we’ll introduce you to one or two people.

A warm hello and an understanding group

We love welcoming new people (and returning people). We all remember our first visit to Lifecraft and want to make sure that yours is positive for you.

A cuppa (if you want one!)

A cup of tea can be a real comfort, especially when we’re feeling discombobulated. We provide free tea, coffee and hot chocolate at our groups. Biscuits also appear at social hubs and drop-ins…

No judgement or pressure

Whether you want to chat or keep yourself to yourself, that’s fine. No-one will make you join in with an activity or conversation, but we’ll help you if you want to.
